David Rockwell MD
Dr. David Rockwell is a board‑certified orthopedic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience in community orthopedic practice. A Morehead Scholar, he completed both his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, followed by his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Rockwell provides non‑operative orthopedic evaluations with expertise in general orthopedic conditions and work‑related injuries.
He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and is an active member of the AAOS, North Carolina Orthopedic Association, and North Carolina Medical Society

Mark Foster MD
Dr. Mark Foster is a board‑certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in both Spine Surgery and Foot & Ankle Surgery. He provides independent, objective orthopedic evaluations supported by extensive clinical and surgical experience.
Dr. Foster completed medical school and orthopedic residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by a Foot & Ankle Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a Spine Fellowship at the North Carolina Spine Center. His IME expertise includes lumbar spine conditions (herniated discs, stenosis, spondylolisthesis, compression fractures) and a full range of foot and ankle disorders, including fractures, deformities, arthritis, and tendon pathology.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, and the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society.

Mathew Landfried MD
Dr. Matthew Landfried is a board‑certified orthopedic surgeon providing independent medical evaluations with expertise across the full spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions. His clinical background includes the diagnosis and non‑operative and operative management of disorders involving the spine, upper and lower extremities, and associated neuromuscular structures.
Dr. Landfried’s training encompasses the evaluation and treatment of congenital deformities, traumatic injuries, degenerative joint and spine disease, metabolic bone disorders, infections, and tumors of the musculoskeletal system. His scope includes conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, knee, foot, and ankle, as well as the functional impact of central and peripheral nervous system injuries on the musculoskeletal system.
Licensed in North Carolina, Dr. Landfried provides objective, evidence‑based orthopedic assessments for work‑related injuries, causation analysis, impairment ratings, and return‑to‑work evaluations.
